Peter Swischuk, MD

As a board certified Vascular & Interventional Radiology specialist, Dr. Peter Swischuk has been practicing in the state of Florida for more than fifteen years–the majority of which took place in Broward and Dade counties. Dr. Swischuk was born and raised in Texas, where he completed his undergraduate schooling and received his medical degree. He moved to Florida upon being accepted into the prestigious and competitive University of Miami Radiology residency, and remained in the area until finishing his fellowship in 1998. From there, Dr. Swischuk headed northward to Jacksonville, working at the world-renowned Shands Hospital. After a few years, however, he received a great opportunity to return to South Florida and become the Vice Chief of Radiology at the Memorial Healthcare System.

In 2004, Dr. Swischuk moved onto Jackson North in North Miami Beach, giving him space to focus more on his interventional vascular work. Thanks to this, he has become a key opinion leader within tumor embolization (UFE), limb salvage, and peripheral vascular disease (PVD) treatment fields. Although his medical practice keeps him very busy, when he is not treating his patients he enjoys spending time outdoors around his home in Davie–where he resides with his three teenage children.
